Vacuum Cleaners can be scary

My revenge was sweet. She was playing in her playpen and I turned on the vacuum Not sure what she thought it was, but it was terrifying and scary.  Sorry about that kid, next time you think twice before tricking your old dad.

My daughter the trickster

It is a troubling sign when my 10 month old daughter is already displaying signs of acting like me.

Every night before I go to bed I go to her room to check on her to make sure she hasn’t kicked off her blankets and not shivering in her crib.  Lately, she has been waking herself up and then crying until someone comes and gets her.  Last night, she tricked me.  She woke herself up, and then instead of crying, she laid in her crib and waited until I came to fix her blanket.  When I adjusted her blanket, she took it in one hand and kicked it off her.  Thinking that it was an accident, I put it on her again.  Same result.  She then rolled over, stood up and put her hands straight in the air and smiled at me.  She baby talked something that sounded like “Dada” and I was hooked.  What was I supposed to do?  Instead of waking her mother, I instead warmed up a bottle for her and put her to sleep. 

Women can’t be trusted.  This was a dirty trick, and I will have my revenge.

Our Fire Department is very fast

Kudos go to the Dallas Ga Fire Department for the speed in which they came to my house this morning to put out the “fire” from steam being emitted from my shower.

Back to School

I have been attending Devry University since January of 2005, since they enticed me with opening up a program that teaches game design and simulation coding.  I am over half-way done, and am working hard to finish up school before my daughter does!

 I am taking 2 online classes this quarter, advanced game design and a networking class.  Both should be entertaining, and build off of knowledge already received in previous life instances.
